Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) had commenced its operations in 1957 with the objective of providing reliable and convenient supply of electricity across the state. KSEB is responsible for     generation, transmission and distribution of Power in the state.

KSEB provides convenient modes of Bill payment for its customers. It has recently started the facility of online payment for HT/EHT customers. It will initiate online payment facility for regular domestic users soon.

Bill Payment Options for LT customer

By Cash

Visit your nearby KSEB office and pay your electricity bills in cash.

Carry a copy of electricity bill along with you.

Ensure to collect receipt after paying your outstanding bills.

By Cheque

Visit your nearby KSEB office and write the cheque for the outstanding bill amount.

Mention your customer Id and contact details on the reverse side of cheque.

Carry a copy of your outstanding bill with you.

By money order

You may also send Money order at the relevant address for paying your outstanding electricity bills.

Options for HT/EHT customer

Online payment

•    All HT/EHT customers may pay their bills conveniently over the internet with few mouse clicks.   This facility has been recently started for HT/EHT customers only.

•    For making payment, visit the following link on the official website of KSEB

•    You need to get registered and once the registration is done login with your login id and password.

•    Enter your customer account No in the relevant text box and click on Pay Now button. You need to select the bill amount and payment mode from Net Banking/ credit card / debit card.

•    For making payments by using Net banking feature, you need to ensure that your net banking is activated on your account.  Login with your Net banking User Id and password to access your bank account and make payments.

•    For making payments by using CreditCard/DebitCard, you should have a verified Master/Visa CreditCard/Debit Card. You will be asked to submit various details like Name on the Card, 16 digits Card Number, Expiry Date and 3 digit CVC code on the back of the card.

•    Once the transaction is completed, you will receive the status of the transaction as successful. The E-receipt is generated and you may take a printout of it. E-receipt is also sent to your registered email address.

•    Mention your customer Id and contact details on the reverse side of DD.
